IBM neemt Cognos over

Lang verwacht en uitgekomen: de overname van Cognos en wel door IBM. Een half jaar geleden (maart) verkondigde Cognos na de overname van Hyperion nog vol trots dat ze vanaf dat moment de grootste onafhankelijke BI leverancier waren. De overname van IBM kan aan de lijst worden toegevoegd.

On November 12, 2007 IBM announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Cognos.
